Nutmeg & Mace Caterers has a team of highly trained professionals consisting of kitchen, operation and management staff. Our team has a structure of more than 500 people including our cooks, bakers, commis, garde manger, party chef, breakfast chef and so on.

We follow an integral rule of microscopic level planning and effortless execution. Our chefs and sous chef have years of experience with menu planning which brings out fresh flavours for every occasion. Our management staff always motivates people to carry out their tasks with optimum efficiency. Our hospitality staff have great people skills and they take treat the guest with utmost care. With this combination of astute people we are capable of handling both small and large scale events with equal competence.

Meet the chef

Chef Ganesh Bogati

Born in 1974 India, Chef Ganesh Bogati has gone through a long journey from being a cook to a food aficionado. He started out in Nainital, where he worked for 2.5 years. In 1994, after his ingress to our famously foody city of Ahmedabad the journey took a turn for the best.

After the initial work at Kunal restaurant he has worked with some of the finest people and places in the industry like Holiday Inn, Diwan-E-Khaas, The Jungle Bhookh, Inder Residency and so on. He then served as an Executive Chef in The Grand Bhagwati and later worked for Narayani Hotels and Resorts.

His culinary prowess extends beyond India which led him to Hong-Kong for 4 years, where he served as the Corporate Chef of 3 different restaurants namely Legends of India, Khana Khazana and Spice 8. With this experience he then worked for a few more prominent brands like Gordhan Caterers, Gormoh hotel and Mann & Salwa Caterers.

With rigorous efforts and ingenious execution, this man has become well-versed with kitchen operation, management, administration, quotation and training.

After such an astounding career, Chef Ganesh Bogati has now launched this new venture where he brings some of the most distinctive and fresh recipes to the table, with a goal to cater to people in a way that offers an intimate and all together grand experience.

He was the part of team that accomplished the task of catering at the JIO launch where a strength of almost 15000 people was present.


As one of the foremost food connoisseur in the industry, Chef Ganesh has been acquainted with many celebrities like Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, many TV actors and players from international cricket teams like Team India, Bangladesh, Australia and Pakistan. He has also catered for popular business groups like Adani, Reliance, Zydus, Torrent Power and Lions Club. His other notable events include Vibrant Gujarat Summit and Doctors Meet at Gandhinagar.

Destination Events : Chef Ganesh loves working with people from different regions and creating an assortment of regional dishes. Nutmeg & Mace Caterers is well equipped to handle such unique events.

Overseas Events : Chef Ganesh and the team has already conducted events at Pattaya, Thailand and Macau, China. Thus providing an exotic experience along with Desi touch will be Nutmeg & Mace Caterers’ sole priority.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Pricing and Minimums : Nutmeg & Mace Caterers reserves the right to require a minimum number of guests per menu or per event. Guest minimum amounts, menu prices, menu items, and any other services or products offered by NMC are subject to change at any time, without notice, based on resources, availability and other factors.

To guarantee your private or corporate function, 25% of the anticipated total cost is required at time of booking(unless other arrangements have been made in advance). Remaining Balance is to be paid five (5) days prior to the date of function, (unless other arrangements have been made in advance & in writing). Corporate Clients can apply for payment terms allowing for remaining balance to be paid at time of event or within 14 days after event has been executed.

Form of Payments accepted: Cash, Cheque (Local only), Credit/Debit Card. Additional charges will be incurred when an event time exceeds the scheduled time, additional meal service personnel, or any other goods /services.

Cancellations and Refund : In the event of the cancellation of your scheduled event within thirty days of your booking date, your deposit will be returned-less a 25% handling charge. After thirty days from booking date- Your entire deposit is non-refundable. If booking date occurs within thirty days of your event, your deposit is non-refundable. In the event of the cancellation occurring within seven days of your booked event, you will be liable for the entire event balance.

Catering Performance : Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of the Caterer to complete the same and is subject to disputes, strikes, accidents, transportation, availability of foods, beverages or supplies and other causes whether enumerated herein or not. Beyond the control of the Caterer preventing or interfering with the performance of this agreement. Caterer's liability shall be limited for any breach or non-performance of the agreement or any part thereof to the amount paid for the initial deposit. Caterer shall not be liable for damages, consequential or otherwise other than for the return of the referenced deposit. Caterer is not responsible for damage or loss of any personal property at your event premises. You are responsible for the damages, theft, breakage and/or loss at or to the premises.

Liability : Nutmeg & Mace Caterers reserves the right to inspect and control all functions. NMC is free from any liability, claims, actions and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness, death or injury sustained by any participant in connections with any food, services, personnel, beverages, rental items not directly provided by Nutmeg & Mace Caterers.

Outstation Events : Outstation catering charges will be extra. The client need to arrange for the accommodation and basic necessities required for staff and as well as for the event.

Damages : The client is responsible for directing their contractors to observe the company guidelines & the client is solely responsible for any damages caused by the contractor to any material/equipments.

Outside Food : Outside food and beverages will not be permitted during the event.

Guest’s Belongings : Management will not be responsible for any loss of guests belonging during the function.
